3. U.S. Missile Data Book, Call No.: UG1313 .U54
4. U.S. Weapon Systems Costs, Call No.: UF503 .U54
The latest editions are in the Reference area. Older issues are on the third floor and are available for checkout.
DTIC (Defense Technical Information Center) database
https://www2.sti.nasa.gov/login/wt/ - Private DOAC version* THE source for technical reports written by DoD and their contractors. Includes many newer materials as full-text PDFs, including AFRL & AGARD reports, AFIT theses, and many older WADC reports. The library owns about a half million reports on microfiche as “AD” numbered documents. Note that most are NOT listed in our catalog. DTIC’s “Private” version indexes public and limited reports. *DoD and DoD contractors can register at http://www.dtic.mil.
Engineering Index (i.e. Compendex)
THE most comprehensive engineering resource. Covers aerospace engineering; electronics and communications engineering; engineering management; mechanical engineering; nuclear technology; computers and data processing; and applied physics.
Engineering Sciences Data Unit (ESDU)
Provides full-text and graphics for the following series: Aerodynamics; Fatigue-Endurance Data; Fatigue-Fracture Mechanics; Fluid Mechanics-Internal Flow; Metallic Materials Data Handbook; Structures; Tribology; and Vibration and Acoustic Fatigue. Abstracts for all ESDU series are freely searchable. If you are a WPAFB employee click above for access. Be sure to Logoff when you are finished. If you get "Not enough licenses," please try again later.
