NACA Reports (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics)
NACA was NASA's predecessor and its purpose was to research problems of flight within and outside the earth's atmosphere. The full-text of about 95% of the reports from 1917-1958 are freely available at the above site. We also own thousands of these in paper, many of which are not in our catalog. Many are available as DTIC AD numbered reports too.
NASA Reports
- Public (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) Public reports only.* (See below.) Indexes reports from various NASA centers. We own thousands of these in microfiche and in paper, many of which are not in our catalog. We also can order many as PDF files or in paper. NTIS and Aerospace databases also index most of these reports. *See Librarian for other NASA information.
NASA Reports
- Private (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) Much more complete than the public versions. Also, many more full-text reports! Passworded - Contact NASA about registration (click above).
