Dialog @ AFRL
Dialog is a very powerful search tool that provides access to scientific indexes and content often unavailable anywhere else. Most Dialog result lists provide only standard citation information and abstracts, NOT full-text. If they do, this capability is noted next to the database name. Links to AFRL holdings are provided when they are available.Searching Dialog incurs two kinds of charges:
- The "Charge per minute" is incurred each time you search and is determined by the amount of time your search utilizes computer CPU.
- The "Price to view each full citation" is incurred each time you click on a link to view the full citation for an article.
Because of the unpredictable nature of these charges, it is highly recommended that you thoroughly search the library's pre-paid subscription databases before performing a Dialog search. The recommended databases that should be searched are listed above the form for each topic.
Dialog databases that are accessible via separate pre-paid subscriptions are no longer searchable through our forms. Instead, links to the subscription search page is provided.
