Institute of Physics (IOP)

IOP is a leading international society established to promote the advancement and dissemination of physics. Science Citation Index Expanded (part of the "Web of Science"). Provides access to current and retrospective cited references from the world's leading science and technical journals. AFRL coverage 1990 to present. Prepaid version available on AFIT computers in library - 1988 to present.

Science Direct

It is one of "the world's largest collection of science, technology and medicine full text and bibliographic information," and the library connects you to millions of scholarly articles available from 1995+. Includes all journals published by Elsevier, Academic Press, Pergamon, North-Holland and others.

Scitation

We have access to most of the journals published by the American Institute of Physics; American Physical Society; Acoustical Society of America; American Society of Mechanical Engineers; American Vacuum Society; International Centre for Diffraction Data; Laser Institute of America; and MAIK (the Russian Academy of Sciences). Many older issues are in the Library.
