Chief Master Sergeant TIMOTHEY C. HODGIN CMSgt Timothey C. Hodgin is the Command Chief, Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. As the Command Senior Enlisted Leader, he is the principal advisor to the commander on the readiness and utilization of 6,500 Airmen and Guardians. He assists the commander in the execution of $3 billion in Air Force science and technology programs and $3 billion in external research and development programs. He helps manage a government workforce that spans across the globe through nine component technology directorates, the 711th Human Performance Wing and AFWERX. Chief Hodgin entered the Air Force in August of 1998 and has served in multiple AFSC’s including Electrical Systems, Systems Administrator, Sensor Operator, and Intelligence Analyst. His assignments include bases in California, Hawaii, Nevada, South Korea, Alaska, and Washington. During his time as a Sensor Operator, Chief Hodgin logged more than 1,500 combat flying hours and earned instructor and flight evaluator ratings. He has been a Command Team member at the Squadron, Group and Wing level, and has deployed in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, ENDURING FREEDOM, ODYSSEY DAWN, and UNIFIED PROTECTOR. Before his current role, he served as Command Chief of the 36th Wing, Anderson Air Force Base, Guam, in support of the Commander on all matters affecting the health, welfare, morale, utilization, readiness, training, and professional development for over 8,000 military and civilian personnel. Additionally, Chief Hodgin coordinated with joint service senior military officials, and civic leaders throughout the Joint Region Marianas, to better support air operations throughout the Pacific, as well as theater security packages and other joint-force mission partners.
