A group of Airmen and Soldiers participated in a self-defense class here Dec. 3. The class focused on simple defensive techniques students could use if they found themselves in a threatening situation.

Representatives of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office hosted the class. The SAPR office is committed to an aggressive, proactive program to fight and prevent sexual assaults.

A second class, which takes place Dec. 10, is open only to female students. This class will equip students with more advanced self-defense skills.
