Arnold AFB Innovation Lab reopens its doors

Dan Henley, a predictive maintenance manager at Arnold Air Force Base, discusses the infrared camera project for which he was awarded Arnold Engineering Development Complex Innovation Spark Tank program funding in early 2024. The system is currently on display in the Innovation Lab at Arnold AFB, Tenn., and Henley demonstrated the capability during a Dec. 12, 2024, tour of the facility given for Airmen at Arnold. The Innovation Lab was recently reopened following a renovation, and the facility features 3D printing and scanning capabilities, a computer lab, an environmental chamber, a shock tube and a small-scale wind tunnel.
